It was one year ago today I officially launched the Hourglass Heaven website and started taking pre-orders for the Little Black Dress.
Here are some pics from the launch party last year taken by Peter Gordon and Shelley Wry-Walsh.
It took longer to get the dresses to production than expected and many changes happened along the way.
I originally planned to only make 100 Little Black dresses in 5 sizes. Due to feedback early on from you, I made changes.
Many people I met in person and who answered surveys online said they wanted more sizes, so I expanded the size range to 7 sizes, fitting sizes 0-26.
I also made sure the clothing was comfortable for women wearing DD and larger cup sizes. The bust, waist and hips have been carefully tailored. The dress has now been tried by women of various sizes and women with B cups through J cups have been very happy with the fit.
I also added color! The fit testers and people I met at events said they wanted some color, so I added the Color-Block dresses in Black & Blue and Black & Red.
This also changed the production run, I decided to make 100 LBDs & 50 Color-Block dresses. I realized after I placed my order that happened to coincide with Canada's 150th birthday. :)
With all the changes and delays getting raw materials and supplies it took until December 2017 to get the dresses finished to deliver.
So, what's next? What do you think? What should we do next?
